La Fortuna is located in the province of Alajuela, 114 kilometers (71 miles) from Juan Santamaría International Airport and 142 kilometers (90 miles) from Liberia International Airport, the two most important airports in the country. This is a spectacular place with a warm and humid forest. The majestic Arenal Volcano, the only conical volcano in the entire mountainous region of Costa Rica, will also be present.
Here we will arrive at the reception of the best-known Hanging Bridges in the area, one of Costa Rica's largest environmental projects, a paradise for its exuberant flora and fauna. It has six bridges ranging from 26 to 368 feet in height.
Here we will take a short tour of almost five kilometers across the most important bridges in search of wildlife, appreciating the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal in all their splendor.
Afterwards, we will have lunch (buffet-style) at the Baldi Hot Springs facilities.
After lunch, we'll rest a bit before continuing to enjoy the hot spring pools for up to four hours.
Finally, after the activities and relaxation in the hot springs, we'll return to your stay.
