On these tours we will travel to La Fortuna in the province of Alajuela, which is located (90 miles) from the Liberia international airport. Here we will find many attractions, but the most visited and most important for our visitors are: the majestic Arenal Volcano with Its conical shape, as well as Arenal Lake, these two have a great history. National Park Hike And Hot Springs


  • San Carlos, Alajuela, Costa Rica.

This option takes you on a visit, take a tour of the Arenal Volcano National Park, through its trails, you choose the one you want.

  • Heliconias Trail: (1 kilometer) the path is flat with a narrow section and is covered with vegetation and you can see the crater of the volcano.
  • Las Coladas Trail: (1.7 kilometers) in this you can see the volcanic cone, Arenal Lake, and La Sierra de Tilarán.
  • Ceibo Trail: (2.3 kilometers) circular route, we can see a large Ceiba Petranda that is more than 400 years old.

We will move from this place to have lunch at La Choza del Laurel (typical food) and to finish we will go to a relaxing hot springs place (Baldi Hot Springs Resort) for 4 hours maximum.

Finally, after having enjoyed this place, we will return to your place of stay.

Hike to Arenal Volcano National Park and La Fortuna Waterfall

This option takes you on a visit, take a tour of the Arenal Volcano National Park, through its trails, you choose the one you want.

We will move from this place to have lunch at La Choza del Laurel (traditional food: "casado", "Arroz al Volcán: typical of the area and beef soup or "Olla de Carne" traditional name).

Immediately after finishing the appetizing lunch of traditional food, we will travel about 15 minutes to the reception of the La Fortuna waterfall, here we will descend 530 steps to there, if the client wishes they can take a bath for a maximum of one hour in the cold water, then we will return climbing the same 530 steps (there will be rest areas and drinking water so that the client can go going back up to the reception of the same place). Thus we will finish this beautiful tour and go back to your place of stay.
