Embark on an unforgettable adventure with a guided hike of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes inside the Tenorio Volcano National Park, home to one of Costa Rica’s most magical natural wonders: the Celeste River (originally named Río Buena Vista).

Along the trail, you will discover the beauty of a lush tropical forest and witness the extraordinary phenomenon that transforms the river’s crystal-clear waters into an intense turquoise color. Highlights of this hike include the breathtaking Celeste Waterfall and the iconic site known as “Los Teñideros”, where two streams converge and create the river’s signature hue.

At the end of the trail, enjoy another natural spectacle: the confluence of the Quebrada Agria River with the Celeste River, a fascinating contrast of clear and turquoise waters.

After leaving the national park, we will savor a traditional Costa Rican lunch at a local restaurant, offering the perfect opportunity to experience authentic local flavors.

The adventure continues with a short 45-minute circular hike through secondary trails, where you may encounter orchids, exotic plants, colorful birds, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals such as monkeys and sloths.

On our return journey, we will make a stop at the magnificent Llanos de Cortés Waterfall, just 25 minutes off the main route. Here, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy a refreshing natural swim in its crystal-clear pool for approximately 40 minutes.

Optional: stop at a local souvenir Shop.
